On Friday, May 30, 2008, Franklin Mutual Insurance Company held the drawing for it's 50/50 raffle to help raise money for New Jersey Special Olympics. This year's winning ticket was drawn by Special Olympic Athlete, Richard Kane (pictured on left). Supervising the drawing was Karen Newburgh, CPA, Chief Financial Officer of SCARC, Inc. (pictured on right) and Richard Lecher, Ph.D. Chief Executive Officer of SCARC, Inc. (not in picture). The winner of the drawing was Debra Bischoff of Sussex County. So far this year, Franklin Mutual Insurance Company has raised over $60,000. for New Jersey Special Olympics.
