T-Shirt Day for Fun Run 2008

2008 Special Olympics New Jersey Fun Run Another Great Success

On June 10th, Franklin Mutual Insurance Company, for the sixth consecutive year, was the primary sponsor of the Special Olympics Fun Run held on the boardwalk in Atlantic City.

Some 144 runners took part in the 5-kilometer race. FMI's Fun Run Team (photo top right) finished first overall with 6 of the top 10 runners. Once again, FMI raised the most money, contributing over $61,000 to the Fun Run total, including almost $20,000 from FMI employees. To celebrate their success, FMI employees (photo top left) held a Fun Run T-shirt Day on June 13th. During the six years of its sponsorship, Franklin Mutual has raised over $325,000, including more than $106,000 from its employees, for Special Olympics New Jersey.
